We are NOT a computerized reading program that students complete independently. We are LIVE tutors with Masters Degrees in Reading Literacy.
We are NOT tutors for Standardized Tests. We teach test-taking skills, but we do NOT specialize in specific tests.
We do NOT follow a script. Each lesson is tailored and planned to meet the needs of the individual student. Our materials are crafted authentically.
We are NOT college students or inexperienced tutors. ALL of our tutors have advanced degrees/certifications. Masters and above.
About Me
Welcome to Literacy Masters, LLC. My name is Mrs. Amy E. Patchus.
Hi! I am the founder of Literacy Masters LLC with three decades of experience helping students discover the joy and confidence that come from strong reading skills.With 30 years of experience as a Reading Specialist, English educator, Tutor, and adjunct professor, I’ve taught every age group, from early readers to college students, and I love watching students grow into capable, enthusiastic learners.
I provide high‑level literacy instruction grounded in research‑based methodologies. Through Literacy Masters LLC,
I deliver targeted reading intervention, academic coaching, and advanced reading and writing instruction for learners from early elementary through adulthood.
